Aight… so here’s the REAL DEAL, We’re starting up the blogs… yeah yeah we jumped on the bandwagon a bit late but it is what it is, and we’re here now and we’re gonna keep you up to date on EVERYTHING that’s happening with 4PLAE as well as our own solo stuff that Plae.Boi and myself will be doing on the regular.
There’s lots of exciting things on the horizon and we’re keeping up to speed so here goes:
Today I wrapped up some cuts for Classified’s new album, so many heater joints on this album, the colabo’s are gonna blow your mind!!! Trust me, all aspects of Class’ game have been stepped up, if you thought Hitch Hikin’ Music was a Classic… wait till you hear this one!!!
Pumping out new beats daily, so this is where your gonna get your first leaks and peaks of whats happening with my production… I’ve been working with a lot of people in the studio lately… Tacktishion and FIZ of Universal Soul, we’re putting some things together for our upcoming project, very early stages but things are getting there. I’ve also been working with Quake, Chad Hatcher, Ambition and lately a lot of stuff with my man AA (double A). He’s a bit newer on the scene, but i’m telling ya… this boi got some SWAGGGG with his lyrics, he’s already been making noise lately by pumping out internet releases and tracks like a madman, so we’ve been getting down in the studio lately and making some gems… video and audio soon to come!
DJOLYMPICS DJ BATTLE!!! Unfortunatly there’s no dj/dj teams battles this year, it’s dj & mc vs. dj & mc so 4PLAE are excluded from this years festivities as far as teams battle (September 26th) goes, butttt we are entering the battles solo, both competing in the Turntablist battle (October 3rd), Plae.Boi will be in the MashUp Competition (September 5th) and i’ll be joining forces with Tacktishion to enter the Teams battle. Finals for all of the hip-hop catagories is on October 10th and ALL Events are taking place @ The Palace Cabaret.
Upcoming gigs in no paticular order… I got DMC Canadian Finals coming up on September 13th in Quebec City… super excited, got some nice juggles on the go, This Wednesday @ The Seahorse with IMF, J-Bru, Fritz The Cat & Dj Moves, Halloween in PEI playing for Redbull, this Sunday @ The Argyle also playing for Redbull & ProSkates (Thanks Jermaine) for a big Skate Team afterparty… gonna get down this Sunday for sure. 2 NEW Monthly Residencies in New Brunswick, one @ Nicky Zee’s in Fredericton which is an amazing club to play at, the staff and party goers are great people and I look forward to making the trip up to visit all my Freddytown peoples on the monthly. As well one in Saint John @ O-Zone… New Years is on the horizon and we’ve got our annual Get It Poppin’ 4 planned for something BIGGGGGG!!! And tonight i’m opening for G-Unit’s Dj WHOOOOOOOO KIIIIIIIIIIDDDDDDDDDDD!
Mixtapes in the works for Solid Mas out of Ontario, he’s down with Fresh Kils and anybody who’s down with Kils becomes certified… KILS KEEPS KILLIN’ IT U KNO!!! Starting a new series through my place of employment, Mary Janes Mix Sessions will be available @ ALL 3 Mary Janes Smokeshop Locations starting next month, we’re trying something new with Dropcards.com so we’re saving some tree’s and not pressing up CD’s with the paper insert, we’re going to be using dropcards and i’ll have some of those available asap. 4PLAE Mixes are steady coming out and we will have something nice for you by next week!
