Classified & Halflife Records present a new contest for all the hard working recording artists out there. You could win the opportunity to record an album with Juno nominated MC/Producer Classified.
Here’s what we’re looking for:
We are looking for a hardworking, self motivated artist (or group) who is talented and serious about furthering their career in the music industry. The chosen artist will earn the opportunity to record an album produced by Classified. The album will be digitally released through Halflife Records with the potential for nationwide distribution.
This contest is open to artists at all levels. We are looking for artists from any & all genres. If you’re looking to advance your career and work with Classified, then submit your entry.
To Enter:
We want you to send us: 1) your three best tracks 2) your bio & 3) photo. Please send all entries to halfliferecordscontest@gmail.com . A youtube or Myspace link is cool to send along. If the mp3 is available please send also. Tracks will be evaluated as they are sent. Please send mastered versions if available.
All entries will be judged by Classified himself.
Contest Deadline: June 1st, 2010. A winner will be selected shortly after the deadline.
Contest open to residents of Canada only.

Again props to the homie Drastik for reppin’ Canada in the World Finals in December in Paris, he’s gonna represent our great nation very, very proudly!

Team Offence Leader, member Littles The General along with the Red Cross and a very large chunk of the Halifax Hip Hop Community have come together to put on a benifit for Haiti relief efforts @ The Coconut Grove Wednesday night Feb 10th, here’s all the info:
On Wednesday February 10th 2010, members of Halifax’s Hop Hop community are donating full efforts to raise money for the earthquake relief effort for Haiti. In association with Red Cross Canada, this event guarantees 100% of proceeds will go directly to Haiti through Red Cross. We urge you to come out for a night of entertainment hosted by Halifax’s Hip Hop Community. Your money given at the door will go directly to those in need. At times like this, if you give a little … it means a lot more to someone else. You can donate $10 or more at the door and enjoy a party & Performances for a good cause with Halifax’s best lineup you will probably ever see in one building.
Performances will take place 10pm-12am
Party will take place 12am-2am
